Memoirs from Pastor Wes

“The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want…” — Psalms 23

About

Pastor Wesley Peterson has served in ministry for over 50 years.
Born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts, Pr. Wes attended Bethel University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the early 1950’s. While in college, he married his high school sweetheart, Shirley, then moved to the Detroit area where where they raised four children.

While working in the insurance industry and serving in his local church, Pr. Wes became immersed in the Charismatic Movement in the early 1970’s. This involvement led him to a deeper commitment in church service ultimately leading to leaving the insurance industry, and to full time service as Elder and Pastor of Christ the King Church of Oxford, Michigan, of which he founded.

Now retired from full time ministry Pr. Wes lives with his oldest son David and Dave’s wife Andree in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania. He spends his days writing and reminiscing of his days serving the body of Christ.
